About Tom

Tom was called to the Ontario Bar in 2001 and spent 25 years at a leading Canadian labour and employment law firm enjoying a highly successful practice before transitioning to a full-time neutral role in January 2026.  His practice spanned both the private and public sectors and covered the full range of employment and labour issues affecting employers, unions, and employees in provincially and federally regulated workplaces.

As counsel, Tom was frequently retained on difficult and complex labour and employment matters, developing a reputation for his thoughtful, practical approach and his ability to connect with people. These qualities, combined with his extensive experience, make him exceptionally well-suited to helping parties resolve workplace disputes efficiently and fairly.
